One of the beautiful things about the Wonderfront festival is that you won’t be spending hours in your car trying to get in and out of crowded parking lots. Even better, we highly recommend you get a hotel room downtown for the weekend so you can have the full experience and party late into the night at the many after-parties and downtown clubs. if you are visiting from out of town, downtown San Diego is easy to get around. The airport is right downtown, you literally land in the city. The train comes right to Santa Fe Train Depot just a mere three blocks from the festival entrance gates. The Trolley lines make multiple stops within blocks of the festival gates. There are rental scooters and bikes all around downtown and the waterfront. There are water ferries to move you along the Wonderfront and over to Coronado Island. With the festival happening right downtown everything is within an easy walking distance.
Free shuttle service may be appealing to your festival goers.

To get to the venue locations coming from North of San Diego:
Take I-5 Frwy south and get off on Front Street heading south, turn right on W Ash Street heading west, turn left on Pacific Highway and follow to Seaport Village. OR Take I-5 Frwy south and get off on Front Street heading south and stay on Front Street to Harbor Drive, turn right on Harbor Drive to go towards Seaport Village and Embarcadero Marina Park North.
To get to the venue locations coming from South of San Diego:
Take I-5 Frwy north to exit 14B, Cesar Chavez Pkwy, and go south, turn right on E Harbor Drive and take this to Seaport Village and Embarcadero Marina Park North.
To get to the venue from the San Diego International Airport:
You will leave the airport on N Harbor Drive heading south, follow Harbor Drive until you reach Broadway Port Pier entrance, or continue a few blocks further to the Seaport Village and Embarcadero Marina Park North entrances.
To get to the venue from the Santa Fe Train Depot:
Leaving the train depot main doors head south on Kettner for ½ a block, turn right on Broadway and go two blocks into the Broadway Port Pier and then jump on our free Old Town Trolley shuttle to the Seaport Village entrance.

If you are driving to the festival we strongly encourage you to buy your parking pass in advance. We have reserved spots at some of the close-in parking garages and lots for your convenience. This will save you time on event days as you will have a reserved spot and know right where you are going.
If you do not purchase advance parking there are other paid parking lots and garages around the downtown area.
ADA accessible parking is available at the nearest parking garages to our entrance gates; the Grand Hyatt garage, the Convention Center garage, and the Hilton Bayfront garage.

AMTRAK OR COASTER
If you are coming into San Diego via Amtrak train or Coaster, you will want to get off at the Santa Fe Train Depot stop right in downtown San Diego. The train depot is within three blocks of our Broadway Port Pier trolley shuttle stop, so if you come in by train you can walk right to the trolley shuttle to Seaport Village, or you can walk about 6 blocks from the depot to the Embarcadero Marina Park North main entrance gates.

If you are coming into downtown on the San Diego Metro Trolley here are the stops we recommend getting off at and the nearest festival entrance gates to each:
Green Line: Santa Fe Depot.
- Seaport Village (Seaport Village/Embarcadero Marina Park North/Ruocco Park entrance gates).
Blue Line: America Plaza Station.
Orange Line: Courthouse Station.

OLD TOWN TROLLEY SHUTTLE
On 11.22, 11.23 and 11.24 we will have three Trolleys each day providing an attendee shuttle service to and from three music stage venues for the Wonderfront Festival. There are three pick-up/drop-off points: Broadway Port Pier, The Headquarters cut-in off Harbor Drive and then on Convention Center Way behind Convention Center right in front of the Staff Pro security trailer just before the entrance to Embarcadero South Park.

Ridesharing locations for drop-off and pick-up are located near the festival grounds main entrance, on Pacific Hwy, North bound side of the street, just south of Harbor Drive on the west side of the Headquarters shopping center, as well as just north of Harbor Drive on Pacific Hwy. The Headquarters shopping center is on the northern side of Seaport Village, and the main festival grounds entrance is located on the southern side of Seaport Village. Please advise your rideshare drivers to only use these drop-off and pick-up locations during the festival hours.
