As part of Wonderfront’s return, the team has a commitment and desire to being a “good neighbor” to those surrounding shops, restaurants, hotels, businesses and residents. Therefore, the team is working hard to reduce the impact of sound on the neighbors, and have brought in one of the top professional sound management companies in the region and they have developed a sound management plan that has been implemented for this year’s festival.
- The plan includes extensive sound management planning & preparation
- Monitoring will be taking place during the event days to maintain compliance with the proper sound levels
- A dedicated hotline will be in place during the event
If you feel that the sound from the event is exceeding the decibel levels please call the hotline on Friday May 10 through Sunday May 12 at: (619) 754-8081.
Another part of our Good Neighbor planning is that we believe Everyone Deserves Music. Therefore, Wonderfront is providing free community stages of music performances throughout the entire weekend inside Seaport Village. This venue is open to all festival ticket holders and the community at large as well. The Community Free Stages are located at Seaport Village and will be open to the general public Friday 12:00pm-10:00pm, Sat/Sun 12:00pm-10:00pm.
